Mental health wards that moved to Woodland View included the majority of adult inpatient wards at Ailsa and the two Mental Health wards that were previously at University Hospital in Kilmarnock. Woodland View is a 206-bedroom integrated mental health facility and community hospital which brings together a full range of outpatient and inpatient facilities. I changed my career in 2011 following my father-in-law’s diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia, an experience that inspired me to work within the care sector.
